What do you see while your codes are being read?

When a code isn't in our archive yet, we first read its duty from the official texts. Meanwhile, a sentence on screen tells you how many codes are being read and when the figures will be ready.

  1. Look at the sentence at the top of Today and Lanes, for example “The duty on 3 codes is being read; the figures are ready by 06:00 tomorrow at the latest.”
  2. Until then, the lanes of these codes show no duty; your other codes work as usual.
  3. You can carry on with the rest of the setup in the meantime. When the figures are ready, the screens update by themselves.

A reading can be done in a few minutes. If the day's reading allowance is used up, it carries on the next morning; the time on screen already allows for that.
